Overview
Quixar is a free movie discovery app. We built it with a simple principle: you should be able to use an app without handing over your personal data. This policy explains exactly what happens — and what doesn't — when you use Quixar.

Quixar does not collect, store, or transmit any personal data. We do not require an account, an email address, or any personal information to use the app.
Bookmarks
Your saved movies are stored only on your device using SharedPreferences. This data never leaves your phone and is never accessible to us.
Browsing
We do not log, track, or store what movies you view, search for, or interact with inside the app.
Identity
No sign-up, no login, no email. Quixar works completely anonymously from the moment you open it.

Quixar is free and supported by advertisements served through Google AdMob. AdMob may use device identifiers and inferred interests to serve personalised ads.
You can manage or opt out of ad personalisation at any time through your device's Google account settings or by visiting g.co/adsettings. Google's full privacy policy is available at policies.google.com/privacy.
We do not control the content of advertisements, nor do we receive personal data from AdMob about individual users.

Quixar integrates with the following third-party services. Each operates under their own privacy policy.
The Movie Database (TMDb) — All movie data, posters, and metadata are sourced from TMDb's API. This product uses the TMDb API but is not endorsed or certified by TMDb. TMDb's privacy policy applies to data served through their API. Visit themoviedb.org.
Google AdMob
Google may collect device and usage signals to serve relevant ads. See policies.google.com/privacy.
Flutter
Quixar is built with Flutter by Google. Flutter itself does not collect user data.

Quixar is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided personal data through the app, please contact us and we will take appropriate steps.

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the app after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.

Overview
By downloading, installing, or using Quixar, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the app.

Quixar grants you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the app on your personal device solely for personal, non-commercial purposes.
This licence does not allow you to copy, modify, distribute, sell, or lease any part of the app, nor may you reverse engineer or attempt to extract the source code.

All movie data, posters, images, and metadata displayed in Quixar are sourced from The Movie Database (TMDb). This content is provided for personal, informational use only.
You may not scrape, copy, redistribute, or use any TMDb-sourced content for commercial purposes. All TMDb content remains the property of TMDb and its respective rights holders.
This product uses the TMDb API but is not endorsed or certified by TMDb. Visit themoviedb.org for TMDb's own terms of use.

You agree to use Quixar only for lawful purposes. You must not use the app in any way that:
Prohibited
Use the app to engage in or facilitate any illegal activity in your jurisdiction.
Prohibited
Attempt to disrupt, damage, or gain unauthorised access to the app or its underlying systems.

Use automated means to scrape, extract, or harvest any content or data from the app.

Quixar is provided "as is" and "as available" without any warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses or other harmful components.
We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of any movie data or information displayed in the app, as this content is sourced from a third-party API.

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Quixar and its developers shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of or inability to use the app.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access to Quixar at any time, without notice, for conduct that we believe violates these terms or is harmful to other users, us, third parties, or for any other reason at our sole discretion.

We may revise these terms at any time by updating this page. The "Last updated" date at the top of this document will reflect when changes were made. Continued use of the app following any changes constitutes your acceptance of the new terms.
